The drawers fall off the tracks easy, so don’t put anything heavy in them, like paper or stamps. They as well get very dusty inside them. The knobs come unscrewed from time to time as well. They are good for small things like glitter, embossing powder, or brads and eyelets. Check Costco for a much lower price, but whether or not you don’t have a Costco in your area, or they don’t have them anymore this price is when it comes to good as it gets.
The drawers are engineered very poorly. They tend to bow inward halfway amidst the front and the back. This means that whenever you pull a drawer out or put it back in, it nearly perpetually falls off the tracks. Bins then fall into each other and it becomes very difficult to use them at all.
I was a small disappointed when I obtained this productions first of all, by the description, it seemed like the drawers would be huge sufficient to store 12″ x 12″ scrapbook paper but it is not. The actual drawers only measure 10″ x 13 1/4″ so I am a small disappointed with regards to that but I figured I could find other things to store in it so I put it together anyway and when I did, it does not stand level and rocks back and forth. For the price, I am very disappointed. The drawer knobs are nice though.
The other issue I have come across since I’ve owned this (well over a year) the drawers do not fit properly on the little rails they are meant toxi They fall off easily and you have to genuinely concentrate on pushing them in just so. Definitely not for kids to use or you will have a mess. . . I in addition noticed that they added the drawer dimensions. . . yippeee for them, possibly they actually do read feedback!
i was really befooled by this productions it looks like the frame is metal but turns out it’s cheap plastic. the drawers don’t remain on the track when you pull them out. it’s wayyyyyyyyy over priced. i wish i knew hot to return it is don’t be fooled by the imatation metal look. i’m amazed at amazon for selling such an inferior product at an inflated prices. Shame on You! i will think twice before i rely on Amazon for good quality products. they seem to be a web purchase portal for anyone who’s willing to pay to be on their websites
I went by the reviews and purchased this because it sounded like it would be good as a bead organizer. Putting it together wasn’t too hard but when I tried to put the drawers in on their tracks the frame was too narrow and they wouldn’t slide in. I had to loosen the bolts at the bottom and the top so the drawers would slide in and out. I put my furnishes in the drawers and as I filled it it started to lean to one side because I had to loosen the bolts on the frame so the drawers would fit and in order for the drawers to fit on the tracks it made them fall off the tracks. The whole thing was a jokes I loved the idea of it but it was just so poorly engineered and very cheaply made. I ought to have sent it back immediately but was hoping maybe it would work whether or not I was heedful not to move it too much which why I wanted it in the first place.
What ultimately took place was when I was attempting wheel it, a couple of the drawers fell off the track and hit the floor and such a great deal of of the drawers cracked and by then was wholly useless. By then I was down to 6 rather of the 10 drawers that were usable. I at long last just threw it in the garbage. I found another “type” that I found at Stacks and Stacks and it is so much better made but without as numerous drawers which is what I liked when it comes to the other one and it was fewer $$. All I may say at this point is don’t waste your money unless whatsoever you put into it doesn’t weigh more than a pound in each drawer but even then it will still lean because you can’t tighten the frame to keep the drawers on the track….sigh. Not a good experience with this thing.
The frame comes with no lateral cross bracing, so it can lean to a great extent side-to-side. In fact, it will lean so much that the drawers will fall off of one of the side rails and then they all become tilted and jammed. It in addition makes it very difficult to roll around. A simple fix is to cut a piece of thin (1/8 inch to 1/4 is fine) plywood or alike material to fit the back of the frame. Drill holes through the wood and 4 of the back flanges that stop the shelves from going out the back. Attach the wood to the flanges with 4 nuts and bolts. Make certain to straighten the frame BEFORE drilling the holes! Once the four corners are attached, it will give the frame the rigidity it so desperately needs. Without it, I would not recommend buying this unit.
i like this alot but the only problem is that you can’t put alot of stuff in draws or else it will come off the track
i use this for my make up and accessaries and its perfect! it contains alot of my stuff and doesn’t take up too much space in my small room
I love the colors and it gives you a great deal of room. However, whether or not you put heavier stuff in the drawers they tend to fall out of the slots. I do have one drawer that no matter what i put in it, it will not remain on the track. It have a tendancy to be wobbly too. If you are using it for light storage its fine. However, i bought it to store my makeup in and the drawers arent lasting sufficient for such a lot of of my palettes and powder compacts.
Bins do not competely reach each side of unit so they fall off of their tracks alot. Look elsewhere for a better cart.
