I installed these lights with my son on his jeep. The installation was beautiful straight forward, altho I think the directions could be a bit more clear. Would have liked a little more adjustment downwards in the mounts as we put the lights up near the mirrors. Good kit with sufficient wire, and the lights look sharp.

I have these installed on the top my bull bar and on the bottom I have PIAA plasma ION driving lights. These lights look cool but they are not vivid at all I mean they look dim equated to my factory headlights. I changed the bulbs and wiring to accommodate 100 watt bulbs but they are still dim equated to my PIAA lights with 85 watt bulbs. With 100 watt bulbs the light output is worthy of acceptance or satisfactory but for a total price with bulbs wiring etc. of 140 dollars I would have gladly expended an extra 40 dollars to get the PIAA 520s and PIAAs are much posing no difficulty to install and have a much better beam pattern and light output in addition they have a metal housing rather a cheap plastic one.

I got these because they were cheap, and would look outstanding on my black jeep. Hella is a reputable brand, so I figured it was a safe bet. After they are all installed I am overall happy, but I wouldn’t commend them to others.

These were a hassle to install, the switch that came with the pack was bad, and the grounds for the headlamps have way to short of wires. The directions are regarding as informative and helpful as listening to an automated messaging service!

These are not more glorious that the headlights that come on the jeep, although they do add more light. whether or not I were to do it all again I would just go with the either more pricey PIAA’s or Lightforce, or for the wiring wary: go with the Warn Wireless ones. I expended the difference in price in added wires, testers, and a switch.

I’ve had these lights on my truck for over a year now and have abused the grille guard and light scheme greatly. They were simple to wire, I ran them to an LED toggle switch with carbon fiber flip-cover. I think I adjusted the beam intention once since mounting them, most likely after hitting something with the lights. The Black Magic distinct element of the lights is great, they don’t seem to be much until you’re either in the cab behind them, or in the beam out front.

Lights are good for the price; quality is what I expected for a lower priced light. We’ll see how long they hold up, so far so good (about a month).

These are just aweinspiring lights. The black look is great. They are exceedingly bright. I purchased two sets: 1 for windsheild and one for bumper on my Jeep JK. Plus they are really inexpensive!

I’d be inquisitive to see how much more magnificent the 1000 series is. I turned one one set of my 500s during the afternoon yesterday, while my girlfriend was driving in front of me. She literally was waving at me to turn them off cus they were so bright. And it was still sunny out!

I wish they would have located the wiring coming out of the bottom of the housing. That’s my only minor gripe.

Its a beautiful good light for the price.. They are brighter than my brights, but they cover fewer of an area.. When I turn these on, I can see 10 feet or so on either side of a two lane road. They are nice for extra light, but I’ll still use my brights instead of these

I had reserved my roof bar for more potent lights, but thought these would work utterly on my Jeep’s A-pillars. Couldn’t be more felicitous with them, isolated from Hella’s ludicrous wire coloring, harness, and instructions. Threw away the Hella kit and used a PIAA harness. Wired them to my high beams and they are just what I wanted. The blackout effect is nice, too. Would have gone five stars, whether or not not for the wiring issues.

nice package deal! easy to follow directions with a nice harness! get them for your tacoma and stick ‘em behind a grillcraft-mx grill.

Be very careful when opening the packages these lights come in. The light that can be seen through the front of the package is not secured in any way and if not held by your hand when removing will fall out of the inner package when got rid of from the box. I shattered the basi one of my six lights due to this and now have to order another set. Service and quality of vender and Item are Great!!!
