Aquaphor Healing Ointment Advanced Therapy
As a nurse I wash my hands several hundred times a day it seems. Even with the hospitals using moisturizing soaps my skin gets very dry. I bought this small jug and take it to work with me. It is aweinspiring how well it may moisturize my VERY arid hands. In the winter I get cracks on the outside of my palms, without fail each year. I take this cream and let it sit on the crack for as long as I cannot By the next day or so the crack has healed enough to be more manageable.
Several persons who requires medical care have this cream prescribed to them by their doctors its so good.
I highly commend this cream to everybody that suffers from dry, cracked skin!
Thank you for reading my review.
I purchased this ointment based on a recommendation by my son’s pediatrician. My son suffers from serious eczema and nothing we were using on him was helping. We have to be very careful with what we use on his skin because anything may make his condition flare up. The pediatrician commended we use the Aquaphor ointment on him at least two times a day, and particularly after his bath. She in addition said it is crucial to make use it within minutes after patting him dry from his bath before the skin has a risk to ‘dry out’.
This is the only product that has helped his skin condition. If we use it on him twice a day his eczema is virtually non-existent. It has worked so well on him that I started using it after I shower and it has made a tremendous divergence in my skin. I don’t have eczema but in the winter I end up with severe dry skin and this is the only moisturizer that made a divergences
The only downside to this ointment is that it goes on greasy and can take a few minutes for the greasiness to soak in. I prefer not to put on any good clothes right away in case such a heap of of the grease transfers to my clothes before it soaks into my skin. If there is a greasy spot or two on the clothing then using powder on the spots helps to get it out (let the powder sit on the greasy spot for a few minutes or more so it soaks up the oils, then brush the powder away). Even though it goes on greasy I decided to give it 5 stars because it is an ‘ointment’ rather than a ‘moisturizer,’ and it does what it is supposed to better than any other product we have tried.
as far as i can tell, there is no divergence amid the “baby” and regular versions of aquaphor. their website does not mention any difference, and i have not observed any deviations in the last month of utilized but, for galore reason, the baby version is frequently less pricey expensive is as well true at merchants who sells goods at retail – and check the baby aisle for the even less expensive target brand). i have been using aquaphor, mixed with Eucerin Lotion, Intensive Repair, 16.9-Ounce Bottles (Pack of 2), twice a day on my daughter for the last two years, and it has in truth helped to keep her eczema at bay. i find it too greasy to use alone, but it is swell mixed with another lotion. as well makes a outstanding lip balm!
My hubby and I just got tattoos done a week ago and out artisan suggested using this stuff. All the other tattoo merchandise out there are just over priced so we thought we would give it a try. firstborn off, I love the price and although I don’t like the greasy sentiment of this, I love how great it is helping my tattoos heal.
My daughter got diaper rash at 2 weeks old and we tried everything to get rid of it, even altering to organic diapers and becoming prescription cream from the doctor. After suffering for 6 weeks my husband brought this home and in two days her amazing rash is virtually totally healed!!!! This is truely a miracle cream!
I bought it for baby son who has been diagnosed with eczema. My doctor recommended this ointment to apply to the affected area. The redness and dryness in that area subsided after 4 apps applications after the day bath and once after the night bath). I’m still hoping that there will be fuller recovery but it has done a good job already.
My mother suggested that I get this product for my feet.
I had terrible peeling feet and cracked heels, and iching feet.
I have been using this product for a month now and very pleased, the peeling portion is not that bad now and no cracked heels and my feet feel much better and much more smoother now and the inching has halted nearly completely.
Will be becoming more later, particularly at Amazon price, since it is cheaper, but it is worth the high price that I got in the local drug store, anyway!
Sincerely,

Waste of cash since after consumption and numerous research, I found that Vaseline offered me the same for much less $$$ and feels the same so I applied it on my arms before weight lifting till I completed the container. It is a petroleum jelly plus numerous more.
I had been looking for a lotion (which is liquid) not a cream (which is solid) for external use, for hands during winter, face after shaving, feet for white dry skin, and for the entire body after mountain biking and surfing in burning sun for years and years with no luck till I found almond, castor and coconut oil. Most lotions and creams are chemical garbage since majority of those products are petroleum jelly with perfume and a very clever marking. I use Almond oil NOW Foods Sweet Almond Oil, Edible, 16 ounce and Castor oil NOW Solutions Castor Oil, 100 % Pure, 16 ounce and Coconut Spectrum Naturals – Coconut Oil Organic, 14 oz liquid.
When my daughter (now six months old) started out to experience severe, persistent diaper rashes due to highly sensitive skin within her first month of life, we were desperate to find an ointment that would aid alleviate her pain and her poor, invariably inflamed bottom. We weren’t competent to use the standard zinc oxide creams because they really made the rashes worse or caused them, and while petroleum jelly didn’t cause rashes, it in addition didn’t do anything to cure them. After much experimentation, we eventually found Aquaphor. We purchased it based on the exemplary reviews, and it hasn’t disappointed us. It is competent of taking a critically inflamed bottom and virtually eliminating the redness overnight. Given our daughter’s sensitive skin, we use this as a barrier at each diaper adjust to prevent rashes as well – and it works. On the occasions she does still produce a rash due to feed sensitivities or diarrhea, Aquaphor helps to denigrate their duration and severity.
I bought this as it was recommended to use after I got a tattoo.
I still had heaps left after the 2 weeks and been using it for everything with great results. Some scratches on my face disappeared after a few days. I find it’s great for small cuts. My dog got bitten by my other dog (he was annoying him and he bit him lol). It would of cost $60 for a vet bill, rather we put this on the wound and it closed up after a few days.
I’m from Australia and I don’t think they trade this here so I have to buy it online but it works well and great value
