The speed of this card may be overkill for ordinary shooting/filming. However, I use Magic Lantern on my 60D, which is a firmware modification that runs off of the SD card. I noticed that my Transcend 32 GB Class 10 SDHC Flash Memory Card TS32GSDHC10E had a hard time holding up with such a lot of of the functions of the further and added software. I decisive to give the more quickly card a try, and the functions (such as magic zoom and focus peaking) work much better now.

Of course, pulling pictures and video off the card is in addition quicker than with the Transcend. Although both cards are “Class 10,” the SanDisk is 50% rapidly and without delay than the Transcend.

After a bit of research I purchased this card when I bought my Canon EOS 60D. I shoot RAW + JPG and have no upset shooting at full speed with this SD card. Full HD video isn’t a problem either.

I’ve put the card in both my desktop and laptop computers and haven’t had any problem reading the images off them.

If you’ve spent a bunch of cash on a DSLR why go cheap when it comes to the storage? A slow card can reduce the performance of the camera if you’re shooting rapid fire. After looking at a good deal of reviews here and at photography internet sites I decided on this card and I haven’t been disappointed.

I not so long ago purchased a GoPro HD Hero2 which shoots both video/still pictures and have been very satisfied with the performance of this card. Without going in to what a GoPro can do and why I matched it with this card I will plainly say that it handles approx. 5 hours of video time in assorted settings and easily handles the rapid burst photo setting of 10 photos/sec…fast!

I am very happy with the card. I test the card versus a regular SD card and there was small differance but the Extreme III was Slightly faster

recording the effigy and becoming to the next shot.

I have had such a good deal of problems with generic and low-level brand name cards, so I went with SanDisk “Extreme” !! But in my Canon SX230HS and Lumix FZ35 cameras, I cannot see much diff from other SanDisk cards. I’va also had good luck with higher-end Kingston and Lexar, and would commend them.

Note: As with any Amazon Recommendations, constantly go with merchandise that have MANY ratings, and atay away from those products that have very few ranking comments. It’s not Amazon behind them, but I believe there are a lot of “ghost” reviewers on mfr payrolls working out there now.

Great product from sandisk there is no doubt in my mind that this product is the best in the market if you are looking for an SD card do not think twice just get any of this in 8 16 or 32 gb you wont be desapointed do not worry when it comes to the 1 star reviews there just individuals who either bought a use pos product or dont recognise what there talking regarding or just pure coinsidence like 1 in 1000 that they got a bad product…also i read a couple of reviews of persons that got the wrong product send out to them i think they fix that problem cuz amazon send me exactly what i order.

I needed something that holds a big total of pictures and video..this does the occupation great. had antecedently been purchasing 2-3 GB cards before this..those were good for pics but not video and pics..will only go this route from here on

Works great with my Nikon D90, haven’t found a bad thing about it yet. I use it as my primary card for my Nikon D90 and it keeps up for my needs.

This card actually works. I can copy large files (movies) so fast that I don’t have to think twice before doing its Previously I had bad experience with “class 10″ Transcend cards on two occasions. Those things were literally 10 times slower than this one. Sandisk, on the other hand, gives me solid writing performance: on intermediate 17 to 30 MB/s. Hope it’s going to last.
