I’ve been riding for well over 20 yrs and the Deltran Battery Tender is one of the biggest productions you may buy for your cycle!!

In the early years, I was playing with trickle chargers and/or starting the bike once or twice a month over the winter months, only to perpetually seem to be pushing the bike down the alley come spring, attempting to pop the clutch to get her started because the battery didn’t make it through the winter with a decent charge….again!

About 10 years ago I purchased a Battery Tender Plus at a cycle shop’s open house. They were rather pricey then, but thought it worth a try taking into account the sale expensive Loved it!!! Still have that initial one, even although I have been through a couple of the Jrs.

With 5 streetbikes in the garage, it seemed like a no brainer to invest in this 4 bank version. Did a small shopping around and found this to be the best deal. I had read somewhere, (although can’t recall where), that this model had leads 12 ft long, so I didn’t see the need for the extentions. Wrong!!! Leads are only 4.5 ft long each, so I wish I would’ve got the extentions. 25ft is a bit long and I have seen 12ft elsewhere.

Again, fantastic product for the off season or whether or not you’re fortunate sufficient to have a multiple bike stable!!

This is a great product that I don’t acknowledge how I got along without. We have a couple of riding lawn mowers, ATV, and off road vehicles. every spring we had to deal with replacing batteries, and during the summer after a few weeks of idle time we would have weak or depleted batteries. We have set up all of the instrumentation with quick connects. Everything stays charged and ready for used In the dead of winter when we necessitated to pull equipment out it started without incident. This spring the savings in replacd batteries compensated for the unit. Great merchandise

Very pleased with the 4-bank battery tender. I have four motorcycles in the garage and have shuffled four “single” battery chargers for years. This 4-bank system is notable easy to set-up and used Plug it in and forget when it comes to it is I recommend becoming 4 of the battery connection extensions because the connections on the tender are only a couple of feet long. Considered purchasing directly from Deltran, but then ran into it on Amazon.com for virtually half the costly Heck of a deal.

I bought the 4-Bank after having the Jr. and the 2-Bank. The more I used the others the more uses I had for them. If I had known how much I liked and necessitated one I would have bought the 4-Bank first. One bad point are the leads from the charger with regards to 6′ you will need such a good deal of extentions but they are not to much (cost), and come in such a great deal of lengths and work perfect.

I purchased the Battery Tender 4 bank charger-maintainer in June of 2009 through Amazon. its primarily use was to maintain batteries in my motorhome. After 9 months of continuous use one bank quit working. The unit was listed as having a 2 year warranty, but when I called Deltran Corporation I was advised there was a $25 evaluation fee, even though it was still within the warranty period. There was nothing in the instruction booklet that prepared me for this. It showed the length of warranty for every of their maintainers, but no mention of evaluation fees. I was politely told that this information was posted on their web sites Their web site without doubt showed the “evaluation fees” for each of their products. Basically all repairs are free for the first 90 days, after that you have to pays the evaluation food This applies to all the Battery Tender chargers-maintainers. Since the repair, there has been no further problems. It has been in use now for 17 months. Would I have purchase it had I acknowledge about the goofy warrant NO. I am not bummed out about the failure of the unit, “things happen”, but I am with regards to the warranty. My counsel would be to visit their website and wholly understand the warranty before you purchase any of their maintainers.

I own a farm and now have 12 different vehicles and batteries under the watchful eye of my Battery Tenders. It seemed like I was buying a battery every 3-4 months for one of my vehicles or pieces of equipment. Not any more, I have yet to buy a battery in almost 5 years of Battery Tender usages It even “repaired” such a lot of old batteries through its heedful application of power. Much cheaper in the long run to invest in Battery Tenders than new batterys.

The 12v Battery Tender charging 4 batteries at the same time works GREAT on my RV. I have two 8D x 12v starting batteries and 12v house and generator batteries. It works well and keeps all the batteries totally charged. I exceptionally like the status lights on the face of the charger to let me acknowledge the level of charge for each battery. Wish I had purchased this unit long ago.

Before getting this my batteries would be dead when I needed them. Now they’re constantly ready to go. Great product and easy to utilized Shipping was very quick also.

I bought two chargers – this one with 4 outputs to power my standby generator battery, my electric gate, and to charge my vehicle’s D31 optima batteries for running my inverter.

The other charger was a singe output, higher quality unit with much more power, and best of all it had a desulphating pulse mode which far exceeded this units capacity to revive batteries.

Each charger has its place. For the 4 batteries, I have a 4 unit charger in an outdoor enclosure ready to hook up (with exentsions)

For portability and “need it now” charging I have the fast and the furious charger (see my reviews for it’s advantages over this unit).

At 1.25A charging current x 4 you are only getting 15V x 5A or 75W of output for over 180 dollars, which is not a good value, so I deducted one star.

The connectors lack the weatherseal and are leaching copper in the recent rains, so I deducted another star for that

I am overall much more felicitous with my single unit charger’s performance since I can select .75A – 3.5A with it and have the batteries topped off and desulphated at the end of charge. This just sits at 13.2 VDC at the end of charge, which is good in its application because my gate needs some power to run the magnetic lock that secures the driveway.

I needed 5 chargers, I got 5 chargers, and they each do their job. I wish the other company made a 4 unit charger at this price – I’d be buying it in a heartbeat.

New prized possesion. I love knowing that all my batteried gizmos are always topped off and charged. good price on amazon.
